TATi University College (TATiUC) formerly known as Terengganu Advanced Technical Institute (TATI) is a higher learning institution established by the State Government of Terengganu on 11th June 1993 with the mission to produce highly skilled technocrats in engineering fields with up to date technical capabilities and industrial competence.
TATiUC offers intensive courses with hands-on practical (70%) and theory (30%) in the fields of Manufacturing technology, Electrical & Automation technology, Chemical technology and Computer & Media technology with specialization in the areas of Tool & Die Making, Tool & Die Design, CNC Machining, Mechatronics, Robotics, Electronics & Instrumentation, Polymer and Computer Network (CISCO).
Programmes offered at TATiUC are approved by the Department of Higher Education and Ministry of Education Malaysia. TATiUC is among the first institutions in Malaysia to recieve accreditation from National Accreditation Board (LAN) in 1999. TATiUC was also being awarded with ISO 9001:2000 on October 18 2004.

Topic 3 - week 21-27 Feb 2010 Q3. LEADERSHIP SKILLS What necessary changes are needed at TATiUC in terms of improving students' leadership skills. How
Generally ,leadership is the art of motivating a group of people to act towards achieving a common goal. From my point of view, in terms of improving students' leadership skills are needed at TATiUC because it is important in student environment especially for student went to working environment such as industrial training is very difficult to be the best of leadership besides to get the skill in effective of leadership.
The most important thing need to become a leader in terms of improving students' leadership skills is Proactive. Being proactive means thinking and acting ahead. Basically, It's a great method for avoiding more work down the road but also can be extremely important for leadership skills.
Therefore another skill of improving students' leadership is teamwork. generally teamwork are relate to how good you as a leader. So the question of 'How do I become a leader' is really a question of 'how can I lead a team'. All of this need to be done step by step process in order to gain the skill of leaderships.
The management techniques can be used impressively to improve your leadership as a result can develops internal self character which is responsibility, discipline and skills to solve the problems. This is because from here the students know why the leadership is important in a life.
Leadership skill is very important to every student at TATiUC.If in future after they graduate and work field, they know how to supervise the people either they will survive in their working environment or not , maybe they cannot survive and they working under pressure.
